Thermal cameras have been very helpful over the years to measure the body temperature of people and to figure out if they have symptoms of COVID-19 or not. Currently, Vehant Technologies has come up with FebriEye, a new thermal camera which comes with lots of advanced features like body temperature scanning, social distance monitoring, and face mask detection. If it detects any deviations, it triggers the alarm as well.

The camera can efficiently be used at entrances to metro stations, airports, events, buildings, factories, commercial complexes, hotels, shopping malls, and gated communities in the wake of COVID-19.

According to Vehant Technologies’ GM (Sales), Cherukumalli Rao, FebriEye detects facial temperature with its cutting-edge facial detection feature to come out with more accurate measurements. When it records elevated body temperature, it also triggers an alarm.

FebriEye reportedly uses camera streams with AI technology to generate an alarm after detecting people without face masks. One can easily review and monitor the alerts as it is designed in an interactive way.

This feature flags people not following social distancing rules and alerts the administration to take mandatory action. The company is asked to look into its innovation with the government. According to the official in a presentation, it could help reopen malls, offices, and factories safely according to the government’s guidelines.

In addition, Vehant Technologies has also introduced COVID Analytics suite along with automated cameras which is used widely in government offices, industries, commercial complexes, and hotels.

A lot of industries and factories have been using COVID Analytics tools to detect face masks and social distancing. The company also has market strategies. A lot of hotels and industries are looking forward to having these equipment onboard.

The COVID Analytics model has been tested in Lucknow, Hyderabad, Raipur, and Bhopal. In addition, Chhattisgarh and Telangana governments are also looking forward to the same.
